The first thing you need to do is to book the trek that best fits your personality and expectations of what you would really like to see or experience in Florence. Book your trek and discover an unusual series of locations, with each new destination revealed after you solve clues, complete simple missions and take photographs. Get your iPad
Our staff will meet you at your hotel or a suitable location to take your payment, and provide you with your Urban Treks iPad which comes with a water resistant cover and a pre-loaded App. Even though our app uses simple user friendly, touch screen technology, we will make sure that you have understood how to use the device and the basic features of our App before letting you stroll around the streets of Florence.
Scan the barcode
You will be provided with a one time use QR code (similar to a barcode) to scan that will trigger the start of your Urban Trek. Step by step, you will be requested to upload photos for your challenges, answer simple questions and navigate to locations to learn more about the city's local life and activity. Follow the arrow
Each stage of the trek provides you with a large arrow to follow as you search for your next mystery destination in your trek. When you successfully reach this location your iPad will automatically release information about your newly discovered location and give you your next mission, challenge or clue. Back to top...
